Can I include notes about my gifts?

You can definitely add notes to your gifts, however, gift notes form part of your statement of testamentary wishes, which are guiding but not binding, and do not impose an obligation upon your executor.

Ultimately, your executor (as your trusted representative) will have regard to those notes, so it is generally best practice to make sure instructions are clear and that your executor understands your wishes.
