The role of your nominated medical guardian substitute/s is to act in circumstances where none of the Primary Guardians are able to.

Generally, a medical Attorney is allowed to make most medical decisions for a Principal on their behalf, that the Principal can legally make for themselves.

However, in each state, a guardian is subject to certain rules which say they should be acting in the Principal’s best interests at all times.
