In Australia, it is highly recommended that each Australian adult has their own Will, so you and your partner will each need to create individual Wills on our platform (this is also beneficial from a security perspective). Joint/Mutual Wills can be really problematic when one party passes away before the other, or there is separation (however unlikely). They also cause extreme practical difficulties with the legal processes which must occur after passing, including with Probate. We've kept our Wills individual to make sure these problems don't arise down the line.
However, we do offer Mirror Wills. To do a mirror Will simply complete your will and then make sure you checkout with a Partner Will in your cart (these are 50% off). After you complete your checkout, you’ll see the option to ‘Create a Mirror Will for your Partner’. We’ll then guide you through a few quick questions to confirm their details and get consent to mirror your Will.
If you are specifically after "mutual wills" you should obtain careful legal advice from a specialist estate planning lawyer.
